Working with DePaul's Office of Mission and Values (OMV), we were commissioned design and prototype a mobile touring app that allows prospective students, parents, and donors to learn more about the university's rich heritage.

On a team of three, we prototyped a mobile app that integrates archived media with interactive features. We met both stakeholder objectives and user desires by telling stories of DePaul's heritage in a way that captivates students and encourages them to get involved in the community. The app is currently being developed by DePaul Computer Science students.

Casey, Courtney, and Franklin did an exceptional job developing a prototype. Their user-focused research and design philosophy challenged some of our early assumptions and identified entirely new possibilities and opportunities. Their work demonstrated the capability not only to identify what end users want, but more importantly to incorporate the insights into their prototype design. The end result was a polished, sophisticated prototype that was much better than we imagined at the beginning.
