Lead Product designer // Hackerone, 2022-Present

Designer focused on helping customers better understand performance of their HackerOne Bug Bounty Programs through exposing critical data around hacker retention, reports submitted, and bounty spend. Also working on discovery and framing of a potential new product focused on CVE and CWE intelligence.

Senior Product designer // pivotal & VMware, 2017- 2022

VMware Tanzu Application Platform: Part of the founding team that launched VMware’s Tanzu Application Platform (TAP), a platform that gives DevSecOps a way to automate their app deployment with a secure, customizable path to production. As the Design Lead for the Secure Tools program, I designed experiences to help teams secure their software supply chain through vulnerability scanning, image signing, and attestations. I also worked closely with the Product Lead to design role-based access control (RBAC) for the platform.

VMware Application Modernization: I designed a greenfield Application Modernization product, from visioning to MVP. Additionally, I wrote and internally published a Field Guide that helps explain VMware’s technical concepts to non-technical readers.

Pivotal Tracker: I led a strategic change to our pricing structure and designed flows to transition existing customers to the new plans. Towards the end of my tenure, I led a redesign and rebuild of our 10+ year old core product.

Pivotal Labs: I worked with clients to transform the way they build software through Pivotal practices. On each project, I led research and design activities towards an MVP, meanwhile enabling client designers to bring best practices back to their home organizations.

user Experience designer // readytalk, 2016-2017

Lead UX designer for the company's new webinar platform, from ideation to shipment. I led brainstorming sessions to determine platform branding and was responsible for design decisions surrounding the entire webinar line of business. Additionally, I filmed and edited videos for promotional collateral.

Educational Technology Consultant // DePaul University, 2015-2016

Instructional designer for online courses. Conducted usability studies and provided feedback to external developers. Taught seminars on building and designing e-portfolios.

DePaul University (Graduated summer 2016)

Awarded the Vincentian Endowment Grant to design a “Traditions” tour mobile app for DePaul University’s Office of Mission & Values (OMV). Worked on a team of three to prototype, user test, and design the app, culminating in a presentation given to stakeholders.
